Background:

Alexandria studied medicine at the University of Edinburgh with an intercalated degree in Epidemiology. She has been involved in various systematic reviews on respiratory viruses including influenza, RSV and CoVID-19 through The Usher Institute, University of Edinburgh. As highlighted in her interests, Alexandria undertook an internship with the World Health Organization in Geneva where she contributed to the global Typhoid Surveillance Guidelines and researched global typhoid outbreaks alongside US CDC and the International Vaccines Institute. She has recently completed her Academic Foundation Year training in Edinburgh where she continued to expand her public and global health knowledge through a project on Verbal Autopsies overseen by the National Institute of Health. She is currently a Clinical Research Fellow in the CIRG.
